Need the Apple watch to use on Verizon and was wondering if it was better to purchase direct from Verizon over buying from Best Buy or Apple?

Just saw where Verizon users were having LTE issues.

It's my understanding that it doesn't matter where you purchase your Series 3 cellular + GPS model Apple Watch in the region you live. What is important to note is this: "The Apple Watch and iPhone service provider must be the same."

As stated by Just_Me_D, it shouldn’t matter.. but I do like getting my stuff from Apple directly.

I did get mine from Verizon. 6 months to pay. It’s working flawlessly. Love it.

On Verizon they’ll give you a $60 credit towards your plan. 3 free months at $10/month and a $30 credit for device activation. Unless Best Buy can beat that might be better to get at Verizon. They also give you a 6 month finance option which comes out to like $77 a month of you get the 42mm watch.

In the "About International Roaming" section, it looks like you can still use the watch on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi if not connected to an LTE network.
