Apple watch ! How come Tim Cook has given April release date yet not update official Apple site?

Tim Cook yesterday said in a statement re apples making in the last 3/4 months of 2014, that the apple watch will be coming out in April if so when we need a date for the watch Tim Cook

They'll likely next announce a date for a media event to launch the watch, and the actual release date will be announced then too... Patience...it's a virtue.

My "unofficial" response on behalf of Mr. Cook:

To Whom It May Concern,

Apple will disclose the actual release date of the  Watch at the appropriate time in the very near future. We appreciate your excitement in regard to the device, but we ask that you be patience while we prepare the  Watch for release so that the overall user experience will meet or exceed your expectations. Take care.
