I read an article on The Verge this morning posed the question, "How long will Apple sit on the VR sidelines?" Overall, it was a pretty good article (a little cynical) but as I pointed out in the comment section, the article didn't really make a strong case for WHY Apple needs to get in the game. The article makes a good case for "Apple should do it because VR is HOT right now" but that's about it.

I want to get your thoughts, do you think Apple should jump in the VR game? Why would Apple need to enter the VR game?
