Apple TV and Kodi - Installing from a zip file?

Hi,

Some add ons, require you to download a file to the system rather than just a website (i.e.: Fusion).
Apple TV 4 doesn't allow to store any files on it.

Does anyone know the workaround for installing from files on Apple TV?

It was my understanding Kodi could only be installed on a jailbroken Apple TV 1 or 2.
