I’m brand new here so I apologize if this has already been discussed but I looked it up and couldn’t find any posts with my specific problem. It’s well known in the Apple community that the Apple TV will act as a home hub for away-connections. However mine refuses to work. My iPhone recognizes my iPad as a hub but will not see my Apple TV. I’ve disconnected and reconnected countless times, signed out and signed back in, updated the software on all devices, and still cannot control my Philips Hue bulbs when I’m not home without the iPad being present in the home. Any ideas as to why this may be happening? Could something be defective or have I missed a setup step somewhere? Thanks in advance!
