If Apple opted to remove the headphone jack from its next MacBook/MacBook Pro models, it wouldn't bother me one bit.

It's possible but if every rumor came true we would be looking at very different devices today. I do not think the headphone jack will be removed from non-iPhone devices at this point.

Only if they add a lightning port. The last thing I want is to need lightning headphones for my phone and USB C headphones for my computer.
