Apple does many things for security issues. I suspect allowing sideloaded apps would present one.

No... it's basically illegal streaming. Even for Andriod you have to allow un-trusted sources (per their website / Cinemabox) to all installation.

There's a prob a good reason the apps aren't part of the Google Play Store.
