Glad to see these offered. Would love replacement charger adapter or a cable with male/female end. Paranoid I am going to loose the little thing.

I can understand that. I've lost more adapters and cables than I care to remember.

I use the Pencil almost daily as a stylus with my iPad Pro, and I'm not close to having to replace the tip yet, so the answer to your question is "no, at least not in my experience".

I suspect you'd have to do a lot of scribbling to wear out the tip!
