Apple now requires verification before giving out education discounts

Apple is now requiring that customers who want to take advantage of education discounts in the United States prove that they are a student, teacher, or staff member.

I find this interesting. It seems like it may be possible that I could qualify for an education discount since am a staff member at a University.
