Apple Music - recommendable with a straight face to a user with a 16gb device?

I

iMore Question

I am enjoying Apple Music and have not suffered the iCloud library sync issues as others. Having said that, I own a 16gb iPhone and yes I meticulously manage the apps installed and their data to live within its boundaries. While I do not have WWDC attendee knowledge, I am somewhere between that and normal users. Using the new Music service to stream I have come up against storage limits twice already, so I do not believe Apple has done a good job in software to manage cached music that was recently listened. Are there any hidden tips to resolve this? I feel sorry for normal users and God help Apple when iOS 9 is released as I do not see app thinning helping.

I wouldn't think the streaming music would be taking good space. Offline playlists will. Do you have a lot of songs offline? Remember, 100 songs will average roughly 1 gb in space. So if you have 400 songs offline in playlists, that's about 4 gb. How much did you have before Music? Have you added to that?
