Apple music password restrictions

[iMore Question]

Hello ;-)

Im using an iPhone 6 plus. I have set up restrictions including password for in app purchasing.

However if i go onto apple music i can download any music without it asking for a password.

Any ideas what im doing wrong with restrictions?

Welcome to iMore! Music is not considered an in-app purchase. Try disabling iTunes Apple Music Connect in your restrictions Settings. If that doesn't work let us know. Perhaps other members have ideas as well.

Welcome to iMore! iTunes Store would be music in restrictions. Do you have that toggled on or off? If you want to purchase music, it should be toggled on.
