Apple Music - International Songs?

For Apple Music Subscribers in the U.S, can you listen to international songs globally? (i.e Europe, Asia, etc...)

From what it seems, Apple region locks based on your Cloud ID so you cannot.

However, want to verify if that is the case? I don't want to create multiple Cloud ID's just to listen to different songs.

I know someone with Spotify and they can listen to any songs globally with a U.S subscription. I would rather just go with Spotify but want to see what others have to say.
