Agreed D, good article that highlights Apple Music’s features and refinement.
Spotify’s direction continues to be interesting. The contrast between the two platforms keeps getting bigger. Spotify is going for an all in one service that provides multiple content types (mostly audio based) with an eye toward being a social platform. They’re using the Facebook model: get users onto the site or app (“engagements”), record every bit f the user’s activity, increase ad money (the Facebook model). OTOH Apple Music is to the extreme other side. It is just music, subscription music, presented in a refined way.
There’s an argument for both. Unfortunately for Spotify, their model is something they have to make work.
