WWDC 2023 is coming on June 5 - Here is everything you need to know about the event!
Some sort of software to play music might be nice too! My predictions are usually rubbish but I think there's a fair chance of this in any phone Apple might releaseYes, assuming it has bluetooth, contacts, calendar, email, and a web browser I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
I wasn't completely sure at first but the more I used it the more I liked the S60 WebKit browser. I'd find it really hard now to go to any device that didn't have something comparable.I'll note that Nokia is using a new excellent browser on their new phones that is based on code from Safari the web browser on Mac OS X.
I will be San Francisco at MacWorld in 60 minutes to see it for myself -- "hands on."
This is really good for Palm. Now there is new standard for them to meet. Lets see if they are up to it.
On thing am still not convinced about is the touchscreen keyboard. I know they are bigger than the ones we had on previous palm pdas, but still am not sure about how well people will responed to them after the "Coolness" wears off
The iPhone is gorgeous, and it has one INSANELY TERRIFIC ADVANTAGE - you can't touch it or use it; you can only see the gorgeous pictures and hear Apple's PR. But no question, it's the best device in a glass case I've seen lately!

Thanks for the post, Specimen.
Frankly, we saw Jobs use the iPhone at the Keynote on Quicktime. My only concern is the keyboard, as I'm sure is the major concern of many.
How bad can the screen keyboard be?
I'm sure I'm not the only one to mention this, but I haven't seen it in any other threads(too many to look at them all) With all this wonderful new technology, including EDGE and Wifi, why did Apple not give the iPhone the ability to buy songs using iTunes directly from the phone? Seems like the next logical step to me.
I think you answered your own question and that interfacing directly with the iTms is probably the next step. As logical as it may seem, it is probably easier said than done and I'm sure Apple wants to get it right before releasing it.I'm sure I'm not the only one to mention this, but I haven't seen it in any other threads(too many to look at them all) With all this wonderful new technology, including EDGE and Wifi, why did Apple not give the iPhone the ability to buy songs using iTunes directly from the phone?
