Apple said in a company statement that pre-orders of the iPhone 6 and 6S Plus are 'on pace' to beat the 10 million unit sales record for the first weekend of the iPhone 6 in 2014. Apple did not state specific pre-order sales numbers for the iPhone 6s, which began on Saturday.
