Apple iPad Air Screen Protector: Is it Necessary?

I need to purchase a screen protector from amazon, any recommendations. Looking for one that'll cause the least air bubbles and easiest to put on as I'm horrible with putting these on. I'm also using an apple ipad case.

I just ordered the iSmooth Ultra Clear Screen Protector for the iPad Air, cost $12.97 for 2 of them. Hopefully I chose the right one. By the way I'm horrible at putting these on, wonder if Apple would do it lol.

I don't use screen protectors on my iPad for some reason. I just never thought about getting one. I have a Smart Cover anyway so I don't think that i would need one.

You should try a Sleepshield. Its supposed to block the blue light that keeps us up at night but I use it as a screen protector as well. I purchased a SleepShield for my iphone, ipad and macbook air and it seriously works. Lately I am waking up feeling more refreshed after using my iPad late into the night.

That's what I think too, screen protectors are good but a waste of money really if we all think about it.

My iPad Air 2 I had since October is perfect still with no protector on. I do have the smart case so it's covered when not in use
