Maybe I just missed this in a previous article but my local Mobile Gas has a 3% rewards for using AppleCard advertisement in its window. Whether it is gas or something from the convenience store inside, it is all 3%.
One of the things I like about Apple Card when using Apple Pay is coding doesn’t matter, it is 2% (or more) on everything. I specifically have an Amex for extra high cash back on groceries. But depending on where I shop and how the store codes it’s transactions. I can have a cart full of groceries but if it isn’t coded “groceries” then it falls to 1%. That makes it no good at Costco or Sams or Target or some of the discount stores that sell a lot of groceries.
