Anyone successful transferring contacts over using "VZ Transfer"??

yep, turn off wifi before you run it and it will work fine.

I gave up and exported my Backup Assistant online files to an Outlook file. I then imported the file into Outlook and then sync'd the iPhone to Outlook. I'm glad I did it this way anyhow since I needed to purge some old contacts anyway. Otherwise, I would have been lazy and just transferred them all without looking. LOL

I had given up and manually entered all my contacts, which was a better idea since it turned out that about 1/4 of my contacts were out of date information and it gave me a chance to make sure they were accurate, also made me decide who I really needed in those contacts and removed a few that were no longer required.

I got my working through VZ Contact Transfer thanks to the disabled WiFi advice, but I decided to just sync everything with my address book on the Macbook.

Much easier, and now I can manually edit every contact and their picture with a keyboard.
