Anyone lose car play pop ups on iOS 18

Like when I get a text it doesn’t pop up on the screen anymore? 2024 Jeep Wrangler. Worked fine until the update.

Mine still pop up for me. I’m also on the 18.1 beta so I don’t know if that makes a difference

I have never received any on my 2021 VW Jetta HL, under any iOS version.

I lost mine a few weeks ago with one of the betas even though my settings were set to pop up. A few days ago I decided to turn off Car Play due to the constant delays while on phone calls. Now I use the iDrive system in my car and its so much better.

Yesterday, I was in my car in the parking lot waiting for my wife to exit the Bed, Bath and Beyond store. I sent her an iMessage via CarPlay and she received it without any problems. Having said that, I was not notified of her response via CarPlay, my iPhone or my  WATCH Ultra 2. That’s a first for me using the newest iOS 18.1 beta.

I’ll test it again today to see if it happens again.

That’s a nice looking Beamer you got there Nikki. Well done… As for the handling, I completely agree. I’ve driven a lot of cars and I can truly say that my BMW also handles better than any car I’ve ever driven before it. Hands down.

It’s the ultimate driving machine for a reason, huh? (Laughing)
