• iPhone 15 : The iPhone 15 makes up for a disappointing iPhone 14. Here's all the details.
    • iPhone 15 Pro: Going beyond the Dynamic Island, Apple's pro smartphone goes big on gaming.
    • iPhone 15 Pro Max: That periscope camera makes its debut on Apple's most-premium handset.
    • Apple Watch Series 9: With a new chip teased, it proves just an iterative year for Apple's long-standing wearable.
    • Apple Watch Ultra 2: Another modest update for Apple's top-tier rugged wearable sequel.
    • iOS 17: Our favorite new iPhone software improvements, all in one place.
    • watchOS 10: A significant upgrade for Apple's Watch software makes even older Apple Watches feel new again.

Anyone get/getting their Watches today (16th) from third-parties?

Frankly, I'm surprised that anybody would, but I guess that depends on the whole supply/demand thing.

Some people already got a $50 So Sorry notice from Best Buy saying that today won't be their day. For $50, I could live with that. It's another band or something. :)

Apple is sold out of the Jet Black iPhone as of yesterday or earlier. I don't expect the demand for the Watches to be nearly as great.

So, who (in the US) got theirs already?

If those people are like me, I'm not getting an Watch Series 2 because my current Watch fits my smart watch needs perfectly.

I didn't expect anyone to get one by the 16th, but I'm a little surprised no one is reporting having received one 10 days later.

I wonder what BB and Target have paid out in gift cards for phones and Watches that they promised for the 16th.

There's been a mention of a financially troubled shipping firm having ships stalled, and are now finally moving. Recently the Port of San Francisco has gone to (I believe) 24/7 operation, ostensibly to eliminate long waits in line. Coincidence? You be the judge. :D Other conjecture is Apple just having far too little product available.

Good question. Like you, I'm thinking the smart move would have been to order from Best Buy and get $50 for waiting an extra week or two. Maybe I should let Apple know I'm willing to wait on my Nike+ for $50 per week. :rotfl:
