Folks,

Probably many of you are younger than me (I'm 51), but I grew up with the Grateful Dead and similar bands, Phish, String Cheese Indecent, Widespread Panic, moe, etc. I've seen the Dead many many times although I was not one to actually travel around the country with them. I DID travel to see them a few times. SO any other heads in the house? Or fans of other jam bands?

I'll be 54 in a few weeks, and although I'm familiar with the band, I can't say that I'm a fan or a deadhead.

As much as I'm a big Rock music fan, I never did get in to The Greatful Dead. Truckin' was about the only song I liked. I've heard Phish and Widespread Panic, but didn't care for them either. So no deadhead here.

And of course you can't have a GD thread without a GD song!

Nope, not a Deadhead. Like the band, but not enough to join the club.

Rush, on the other hand......

Did you see Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson introduce Yes at Yes's induction in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? It was EPIC!

Got on the bus in 1988. Saw the Warlocks shows in Hampton in 89. Saw them around 12 times before Jerry's death. I still miss Jerry. Have since taken my oldest two boys to see the Dead, Ratdog, Further, and Dead &Co. Have tickets to see them again in Atlanta in June.

I’ve seen the Dead about 10 Times back in the 80’s and 90’s...I miss out on last summers tour, because I didn’t like the city, but definitely going to try and get tickets this time around... I saw them in 2016 and I had the best time ever!! Plus it was my daughters first Dead concert.. so that was special ❤️

Big fan here. Toured the northeast for a couple of years. Loved my taper tickets. Have hundreds of shows on cassette and DAT. All in storage now. Relisten is the greatest app ever. Then children arrived and it stopped. Lol

Saw some great shows and some not so great ones. Not really into Ratdog or Further. Had tickets to Dead and company for next Saturday but sold them. Didn’t want to be around all the alcohol and weed. Clean and sober for 12 years now. 🙌

Have you seen or listened to Dead&Co yet? John Mayer is a great addition.. I just seen them at Shoreline a couple weeks ago.

I have been listening to dead and co. Mayer is a great fit. Been working thru the albums on Apple Music. They sound good. ??????

Wanted to see them but I know what the scene is like and really dont want to deal with it.
Especially in Massachusetts where recreational is legal.
