Quite the contrary, competition is important only if they can compete. I wouldn’t call flailing competing.

I’m not a Samsung user, so weather they fail or succeed has little to do with me.

At least if you sell the iPhone you won’t lose any value , can’t say the same for premium Samsung phones.

Not to knock this statistic, but sales doesn't necessarily equate to usage, most of these sales could be scalpers buying many sets so they can sell in other markets. Iphones are known to have the biggest resale levels.

I don’t believe scalpers are purchasing 60 million units of iPhones every quarter.

Ofcourse sell-in is very different to sell-through, but even scalpers wouldn’t touch the s23 ultra due to a lack of demand.

Indeed, the iPhone 15 series is going to dominate again in 2023.

The iPhones main competitor, Samsung is having a horrible year with their s23 series only managing to sell 1.77 million units globally (excluding Korea) in its first month before demand completely collapsed.

1.77 million units globally for 3 models is a complete joke. To put it into perspective that is worse than the blackberry z10.

96% profit drop for Samsung in q2 of 2023, this following a 95% collapse in operating profit for q1 2023.

As I forecasted, 2023 is going to be a horrible year for Samsung and their fanboys.

I still have an HTC Desire, Samsung Fascinate, Samsung S22 Ultra, and a Samsung Z Flip 4. Loved the flip 4 and the S22 ultra was a great phone.

I am an iphone 14 pro max person now and loving it , but, if Apple came out with a foldable I would be on that like ( can't put what I want here or I'd get booted so use your imagination ).
