An old issue came back to visit after the recent update

When iOS 11 first introduced the ability to send a screenshot from the small preview presented after taking a screenshot, I consistently experienced an issue where the delay between selecting the "Messages" icon and being presented with the message screen was around 5 seconds.

I think I'll be doing a hard reset but figured I'd see if anyone else is noticing this issue to help determine if it's even worth my time to do a hard reset? I'd done one in the past and it didn't really resolve the issue.

Like the others, it's almost instantaneous for me, too. Definitely try the hard reset to see if that helps.

I had that issue before I updated my phone yesterday. Now everything is fine.

At least Messages In The Cloud has arrived. That will help ease the burden.
