Imho (and noting my Apple bias), if budget for a tablet is limited, give serious consideration to a last gen iPad Air refurbished. I think they hover around 420$ versus this new Scribe in the lower to mid 300s. What you’ll do with an iPad had substantial expanded possibilities. OTOH if e-reading from Kindle books is definitely your only want or need for it, go with the cheaper older Kindle models. Specifically for reading it definitely gets it done at a low price.
