I have searched this on Google and I don't think there is really away to do this but thought I would ask. I currently subscribe to Amazon music that I stream music through our 5 Echo/Dots. I just left Android and now have both an ipad and iphone. I was thinking about making the jump to Apple music but I don't think there is any kind of workaround to steam Apple music without pairing my iphone. Is there a way that I am not aware of?

Hi Floridadomer!

Are you asking if you can simply stream using the Apple Music app? If so, not at this time. Alexa is only directly compatible with Amazon Music, Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, iHeartRadio. As you've mentioned, you can treat it like a bluetooth speaker and go that route (which I currently do). But, I understand what you are trying to accomplish. What has you thinking about making the jump to Apple Music? Spotify is easily on the same playing field and works directly with the Alexa app. However, both are excellent options!

As @bmhillegass87 said, no way to do it (I've tried as well). We find we use Pandora a lot (80s Alternative playlist FTW), and Amazon Music if we want to play a specific song.
