I had been keeping an eye on the new MacBook Pros with Touch Bar just having never pulled the trigger on one. Today, I walked into my local Best Buy and was browsing around and happened to look at the "Open-Box" section and they had a 2017 256GB 13" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. With a jaw dropping price of $1,311.99! I thought no way that had to be a 2016 model at least! The tag on the box had a comment that listed "residue on the MacBook". The Best Buy lady I was working with opened it all up for me and I looked the computer over front to back and side to side with not a scratch or sign of "residue" anywhere. I confirmed it was a 2017 model and I pulled the trigger right then and there and bought it, which I am now using to type this post. I have a 15 day return policy but my question to you guys is do you have any clue what they could have possibly meant by "residue"? Like maybe somebody spilled something on it and they cleaned the exterior but it got inside the machine? All the keys type fine, no stickiness, the screen is clean. Almost seems too good to be true.
