BGR is historically wrong. They make stuff up in hopes that it's true so that they will have been right, but it usually backfires.

And makes no sense as to why they'd freeze out the US's two biggest carriers to give a 3rd place finisher an advantage, especially while there is competition during the Christmas season.

Who said anything about freezing out other carriers? This is not an exclusive deal for Sprint. All 3 carriers will get the next iPhone.

The whole point of BGR's story is that the ip5 would be a Sprint exclusive, so they're the one's who said about freezing out other carriers.

The internal aluminum plate screws into both the front shell as well as the logic board. You can rather easily disconnect the iPhone logic board from this aluminum plate with the help of a small Phillip's screwdriver. The logic board generally connects at a handful of sites along its outer edge with the aluminum iPhone part. Being aluminum, and being a product of Apple, you can bet that the replacement parts are not very cheap. Even though buying a new iPhone is certainly more expensive, replacing certain important parts can run fairly high. It may be better for you to find a replacement aluminum part online.iPhone release date
