All my future appointments have gone missing from iphone 5C and I am unable to create any appointments

Missing appointments
Go to Settings-Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then scroll down to the "Calendars" section and make sure the "default Calendar" is the correct one. Now go to the Calendars app select "Calendars" at the bottom and make sure ALL calendars are checked.
