Alarm running indicator

Being absent minded I have often had to look at the status bar at top right of my iPad (gen 5) screen to see if I remembered to set an alarm, to turn off the spuds or whatever. This little indicator seems to have disappeared recently, can I get it back ?
Apple has not added much of use to me, but seems to take away steadily.

I cannot answer that question. All I know is this - On my personal iPad Pro running the latest iPadOS 15.2 Dev Beta and my work-issued Generation 1 iPad Pro running iPadOS 14.6 I can clearly see the Alarm Status in the status bar.

Just set up an alarm on my iPhone and it’s up there.

After seeing the post by @FFR, I scheduled an alarm on my iPhone. I was then able to see it in the Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner of the screen.

No,not on a beta, I don’t use Siri, I don’t talk to my phone, only to people !
to clarify, I am referring to the alarm at the end of a timer run, as I said as if I was cooking spuds !
And no, no more symbol on status line.

Even more,just tried setting an actual “Alarm”
nothing on status bar. There is in “Control Centre” which is redundant, I might as well hit “Clock” ! Also in control centre is a lit ikon for portrait lock, and a second also redundant symbol for the same in the control centre status bar , apple snafus ?
