Not sure if this has already been posted. The ability to skip and play previous tracks by tapping headphones is awesome. Customizable for each pod. So glad this is finally built in.

In my honest opinion, Apple AirPods are AWESOME on any iOS that supports them....LOL

Here’s a screenshot for those that aren’t running iOS 11 betas.

I wish there was an option for skipping 15 or 30 seconds back instead. Skipping tracks isn't very useful for podcasts and audiobooks.

I'm sure if you used it with Pocket Casts it would work that way. It replaces the default skipping controls with what you are asking for. Works on my other bluetooth items.

Good idea! Maybe that will work. I do use Pocket Casts.

Tripple tapping would make them even more awesome.... not sure why Apple stopped at double tapping.

Mine is very consistent, probably giving me some brain damage from all the hard tapping but works every time.... even better than the wired pods. And ios11 is Beta, so testing some innovation would really be welcomed, although triple clicking is available on the wired ones.

Apple’s own Podcasts app supports skipping 15 seconds forward and back. It looks like the Apple Air Pods don’t support it. Maybe in an update to the firmware?

Aren't the wired headphones that plug into the lightning port called Lightning Pods? Or maybe I am making that up entirely.
