AirPods battery life

How’s battery life been for you with your AirPods? Mine seemed to be fine till I got off my most recent call. I got on the call with the buds at 100% and after about 1 hour and 15 min it was down to 26%. That is pretty bad. Apple rates it at up to 11 hours of talk time. This is nowhere close! What is everyone else experiencing?

I'm getting the same results as you if not worse. My Airpods give me about an hours use before it starts chirping in my ear that the battery is low. It would be nice to see Apple improve on that. Love using them as the sound quality is amazing.

Sounds like you might have an issue... I get easy 5 hours per AirPod for audio listening. If I am on calls that time is less, but not by much. Maybe 3 1/2 to 4 hours.

On calls. Very short battery life. I have over the ear headphones for music.

The case had great battery life. Charge the case maybe once a week. The pods are the problem. They are only a couple months old. I may go back and exchange them if it should be better.

I’m experiencing similar results but if you look up earlier in the thread Apple rates talk time much less than just listening to music.

Yes I saw that. Wish it was better but you are using the mic when talking so understandable.

That’s probably why, but I wonder how calls affect the battery life.
