Iphone 6. When using airdrop i can see my wifes name by a grayed out icon. Airdrop works. But i dont see her photo there nor does she see mine. Icloud has my photo. Me card in contacts has my photo. Same for wifes phone. What do we have to do to see each others icon photos. Ive exhausted all resources with no fix. Thanks. Kurt

Check to be sure that you each have a contact on your respective iPhones that 1) has the email address you each are using for your Apple ID and 2) that that contact (on the other person's phone) has the picture you intend to see.

In other words, she needs to have a contact for you on her phone. That contact needs to have your Apple ID email in it and the appropriate contact picture. And you need to have the same for her on your phone.

Is how your phones are set up?

Make sure both devices have wifi and Bluetooth on.
Make sure the receiving phone has the screen on.
Make sure the devices are within 30 feet of each other.
If DO NOT DISTURB is in use, it renders the device undiscoverable. If it's on a schedule, it renders the device undiscoverable during the scheduled time.
If you're using a personal hotspot, turn it off.

I have 6s and she has 5c. Maybe this is the problem. Still, not seeing photo

Are you both on the same OS? Try on "contacts only". Make sure you each have the other's Apple ID email in the contact cards. Review the list I posted above. It doesn't matter you have different phones. Be sure wifi and Bluetooth are on in both devices.
Here's more tips:

•Sign out of iCloud on your devices and then sign back in
•Restart your iOS devices
•Force restart an iOS device by holding the Sleep/Wake and Home button
•Restart your Wi-Fi router
•Disable and re-enable Wi-Fi and then*Bluetooth
•Enter Airplane Mode on an iOS device for 30 seconds, then exit
•Sometimes disabling and then re-enabling iCloud Drive seems to*do the trick
•Don’t use uppercase characters in your Apple ID login
•Toggle Bluetooth off and then back on again
•Update both to iOS 10.3.1
•And the*mother of all iOS troubleshooting tips—reinstall iOS.

Logging out of icloud and back in on both devices and adding apple id email to eac others contact took care of the problem. Thanks for the help
