Air drop

I have transferred a video from my iPhone to iPad but I cannot see how to increase or decrease the volume or even to move forward or backward the play. Is this normal?

1. Can you not use the volume buttons?
2. Can you not slide the slider that appear while watching the video (if on your iPhone) to move forward and backward?

Hello! If you're using Airdrop to send a video between devices your iPad should have saved the video locally so you would use the normal methods to change volume and advance through the video. If it isn't working correctly try a soft reset. To perform a soft reset, hold both the power button and home button down until you see the Apple boot logo.
