You can try the 'dry it out in a bag of uncooked rice' trick... but if I were you and have carrier insurance - I'd file a claim,.. or make use of AppleCare+ if you have it as if you dry it out, and it works - it will only be a matter of time before it dies and will be beyond repair.

Water and electronics are typically at odds with each other and since you asked what could you do to make it work again, you're confirming that it is NOT working so just consider it a lost and get it replaced.
