Advice on an LG UltraWide 4K Monitor

I’ve got a new 11” iPad Pro and I’m thinking about upgrading my pc monitor to an LG 38UC99-W 38-Inch 21:9 Curved UltraWide QHD+ IPS Monitor. My main goal is to be able to use the monitor with my iPad for the forthcoming Adobe Photoshop and it has a USB-C connector. So my question is will the iPad Pro be compatible with the LG monitor??

I have no experience with a monitor like this so I just don’t know if USB-C is more or less universal like HDMI.

No doubt, it's a beast. This article (What can you connect to the new iPad Pro with USB-C?) suggests the iPad will connect to a 4k or 5k monitor as long as the cable has sufficient bandwidth. I'll probably buy this monitor, especially if I can find any kind of black Friday sale.
