Spigen O-Mag Ring Phone Holder/Stand

Decided to try this Spigen O-Mag Ring. Never used any kind of pop socket or gripper before but this seemed interesting and easy since you can just pop it off when you need the magsafe for charging or mounting. Sturdy, strong magnet. Rotating ring. Works well as a stand.

I got the carbon one below and it also comes in black, light blue and white.

Vicseed Magnetic Air Vent Car Mount

Got this Vicseed Car Mount after trying (and returning) the Belkin Car Mount (too big, awkward, weak magnet).
This works pretty well so far! Sleek and unobtrusive. Strong magnet.

(Never really liked the idea of attaching anything to the air vent but this actually works great and when I pull the phone off the mount, I just keep the other hand on the mount so there is no stress on the actual vent!)

Camera is fully protected and this can be used with any case that doesn’t have its own camera protection (or without a case for those who dare to go bare, lol). I previously posted a couple of cases I was trying out that had built-in covers but this setup with the WSKEN and a regular case works best for me. I got the black to match my phone but it also comes in purple, silver, gold and green.

I’ve used the Continuity Camera feature for M1 MBP with my 14 PM. What a big difference in videoconferencing camera quality. This simple clip does the trick.

Thank you. I've had eyes on some that use MagSafe and want a vent mount. Reviews of different models are all over the place as far as good and bad. My guess was Belkin @Up_And_Away mentions would be okay, and I saw this BestBuy one that is inexpensive. One would think BestBuy would vet the product.

They are all over the place. Every model including the Belkin has some reviewers swearing it is lousy and doesn’t work. I picked the Belkin only because the brand name ‘should’ mean it will be good.
Here’s some pics of it installed in my car. One knock on it is my iPhone 14 pro max seems almost too heavy for the hinge but the curve of my dash keeps it flat facing toward me. Faceid works as is while I’m driving so I am hands free (thicker steering wheel or someone petite in height may be more blocked by the wheel).
