I restored my phone and now Absinthe recognized my phone again trying round two on my iPhone 4 VZW hopefully it will go through. I am not touching it this time.

Other members are having joy, but after a restore. Others have gone straight through.

Mine is done (restoring with XBackup now).

I restored to 5.1.1 (I had it from downgrading). I set it up as a new phone. I then jailbroke with Absinthe, am in the process of restoring my cydia tweaks, and when I am sure all of that is working properly, will restore to my backup.

My problem is similar to everyone elses. Have a 4S on verizon. I have both a MAC and a PC and I tried it on both. I get the "hmmm..something went wrong" message. Can't wait for this to be friggin resolved!

Just did it on my Iphone 4 Verizon, had the same trouble as with my ipad, Backup, DFU restore, restored my backup from itunes, jailbroken perfectly

via iTunes - There is a button that says if you are having problems 'restore', then you restore your back after this or set up as a new phone.

So what did you do Chef? Do you have to reboot it yourself (how?)? Was your jb a success?
