Was wondering since I have Jailbroken 5.0.1 4S if i upgrade to 5.1.1 and then re jailbreak will all my jailbroken tweaks still be intact?

Tried a full restore, rebooting and everything, still failing after the reboot when it says waiting for jailbreak to complete or whatever

No, you need to back them up via a cydia backup. xBackup is good - To be honest I would stay as you are.

It's not liking my Verizon4S at all... the "progress bar" hangs at about 80%.... then I see a line that says, "Hmmm... something seems to have gone wrong, trying to recover..." then it says "Recovery completed. If you want to retry jailbreaking, unplug your device and plug it back in"... done this multiple times now.

Another member has done a full restore, then restore from backup, then running jailbreak. Now it seems to be going through.

Have you tried a restore yet?

Okay fixed it on my Ipad 2, maybe this will work for everyone. Backed up, Put it into DFU mode, did a full restore in DFU, set up as a new ipad, did Absinthe, worked perfectly then restored from backup.

Almost had some heart break

It should work without DFU.

DFU is not required.

Restore and try again.
