Properly never. I think that Geohot and the other developers waits for next OS-update before we see a new jailbreak.

No, this Thursday LOTS of people with insider knowledge are claiming that Apple will release the 3.2 OS ("operating system") when they announce the 4.0 release for the summer.

Once 3.2 is released for the iPhone/iPod, AND once the iPad 3G is released, the hackers will release the 3.2 UNTETHERED jailbreak. So now you just have to wait....
