Hi, I have a few questions about my iPhone 5.

1. How is your battery life? What is your usage and standby times?

2. When I have my iPhone connected to wifi when it goes into standby and I wake it up I noticed its on LTE not wifi and then reconnects to wifi. Is that normal? Then it would be using my data to check email and so on in standby instead of wifi. Obviously that would use more of my data plan.

Thanks for the help.

1. With extremely heavy use I rarely drop below 40% before the end of the day. With light to medium use I'm around 60-70% by bedtime.

2. Yes, that is normal.

With my screen set to around 70% brightness, a mixture of LTE and Wifi connection, and most things enabled (such as GPS, email fetching, etc) if I pull my phone off the charger at 100% around 5am I'll need to charge by noon or 1pm after 6 hours or so of screen on time. While that is considerably better than anything I achieved on the Galaxy S3, I wouldn't expect miracles with this phone.

With medium use, about 75% wifi and 25% LTE I am anywhere between 40-60 % battery by the end of the day. This is maybe 3-4 hours usage and 12-15 hours standby. These are estimates and I haven't really accurately tracked it though. The battery is definitely way better than my iPhone 4.
I am not a heavy user of LTE though.
