7000 aluminium vs 6000 aluminium?

It's way stronger. I had a 6 and 6 Plus. That aluminum was very soft and pliable. I had my first 6 replaced because it warped a little the first day I had it. My replacement, after a year, was bent ever so slightly.

The 6S Plus I have now feels like a slab of steel compare to that. I'm sure I could bend it if I wanted to, but I don't see this phone bending under ordinary use.

Yeah. Not marketing hype. This is really rigid aluminum.

İ am congusing between the 6s and the 6s+, which is more resistant to bending?
Unbox theraby on youtube stated stated that the 6s+ can resist up to 100 pound of force without damage,what about the 6s?

The are both bend resistant. Stop worrying about this nonsense.

Last year's bend issues were real, but it's over. Apple has moved on and so should we. They made a decision to use stronger and more expensive materials to address an issue from the previous generation and they did a great job. Pick your size and enjoy.

Not saying Apple is specifically using 7075 and 6061 in the 6Sx and 6x phones respectively but they are the common formulations. So read this site:

6000 series is lighter, and given the form factor of the 6/6+ was more prone to flex and inevitable bend. 7000 series is heavier and denser.

If you look at most high end alu road and mountain bikes, they tend to be the lighter 6000 series, in particular 6061.

I just got my first ever iPhone, 6S+ and have the habit of putting it in my back pocket. For the week and a half I've used it and have sat on it when getting in the car there's no sign of bending. It feels extremely solid.
