I had predominantly larger android phones while still using smaller iPhones back in the day. I recently had a 6 and lost it due to water damage three times, yes I know I work by the water so this is something that is hard to avoid. Bought the iPhone SE after running out of my insurance claims and absolutely loved the smaller screen.. for like 1 month. Couldnt wait to get back on a larger due to its shear comfort of having a larger longer lasting battery and the screen size in which I wouldn't need to put my nose up to read what's going on screen. I think the 4.7 screened iPhones are great for people who want something small but the 5.5 inch screen on the plus models are honestly the way to go.

So did you end up getting a 7 or 7 Plus? I'd think the water resistance would be a perfect fit for you.

Oh ya picked up the 7 plus as soon as I heard it was water resistant and it does the job pretty well considering I'm always in a hot humid climate with salt water being sprayed everywhere. Absolutely loving it so far it's truly a great computer phone. The screen size seems to fit well with how the apps looks, meaning most/all apps are perfect resolution for the plus and won't get that zoom in apps to compensate for screen size like when the first iPhone pluses came out.. real turn off.

I placed my order for a black 7plus 7 days ago and the estimated delivery date is 11/30/16. I simply can't afford to wait that long for a new phone. Specifically bc I moved over from ATT, and I'm using an unlocked iPhone 6 that will not work on VZWs network. So, I'm stuck with a phone that only works on wifi for nearly two months, Verizon can't fix my iPhone 6, and doesn't offer me any option other than to wait or purchase a $50 flip phone for the interim. I think today I'm going to just got get a 6s+ and hope that the 7+ becomes avail within the 14 day return period. If not, I can probably sell the 6s+, lose a little money, and just pay the difference to Verizon. It's pretty ridiculous that Apple ran out of iPhone 7+ models when they obviously targeted the majority of the market with that model having two cameras, more RAM, etc...

Right after I typed this I went into a Verizon store. They had nothing. Sent me to Best Buy who told me they could get me a 7+ in 10 days. I then went to another Verizon store to cancel my order so that I could go back to BB, and Verizon said they could overnight me a 256gb 7+ and would let me trade in my iPhone 6 for $450 towards my new phone. Signed, sealed, and on its way! Boom! Illl have my new maxed out flat black 7+ by 10:30am tomorrow, and it's only going to cost me around $500. #SCORE
