4S wifi

I, like many others, lost wifi functionality when I went from iOS. 5 to 6. I could get a short wifi session after putting the 4s in the freezer for a while but all other efforts were not successful.
I just did the iOS 8.1.3 and wifi function is back.
Anyone else the same experience?

The freezer trick is an anomaly... Plenty of other users with all types of devices have seen wifi improvements with iOS8.1.3

The freezer trick can also cause long term damage due to the creation of moisture condensation caused by the temperature changes. That's not how I choose to treat my electronics.
