im a clerk at gas station.

This random guy walks in and ask me for Marlboro 72's menthol. He wasnt sure which ones they were so he should a me picture of the ones his friend had told him to buy. He was using a 32gb White 3gs.

So naturally i asked him if he was going to upgrade.. he said yes and chuckled.
Then i told him if he had seen some of pictures of these leaked iphones and the hd screen and proof of video chat. Before I was able to say anything else he said " trust me theirs that and alot more on the new iphone". He grabs for his wallet and shows me his apple restricted access card. Before I could ask anything else he got in his car and drove off.

he did confirm 3 things for me before taking off.

So I met this guy, this one time, at this place, and he told me that this other guy has a friend who knows a guy who works with the sister of a guy that knows the janitor at Apple, and he said there will be a new iPhone. He also told me that dirty mop water left in the closet over the weekend really stinks come Monday morning.

It's true!!!!!! <-- Extra exclamation points to prove that it's true.

Hi

If this guy at the gas station showed his Apple restricted access card or paid with a credit card then you could of got his name. Taking a big risk don't you think?

What I would like to know is how does it work with the networks. I mean Apple have a new phone due to go on sale. The networks are going to need some details so that they can set prices and tariffs. Does this happen between WWDC and the launch or do the networks know something now?

If the networks don't know anything until Monday and "if" the new phone is due to go on sale on the 11th. Then the networks don't really get any time to plan. They are going to need to have prices available very quickly.

However if the networks know some basic information now, well they are very good at keeping it to themselves. I understand that the people in the stores or customer service staff are not going to know anything. But if one or two staff at each network know x the number of networks that have iPhone, thats a lot of people. I would of thought there would of been more leaks from them. They are not going to be as easy to keep quite as Apple employees.

I worked for AT&T when the iPhone 2G was released and we didn't find anything out till 2 days before the release and EVERYONE had to sign a non-disclosure agreement too. Everyone was so excited and paranoid at the same time. I know I didn't say s#!t bc I wasn't losing my job and getting sued for leaking info. Oh yeah, I think the op's story is BS.

Here's the funny thing about the story it's all stuff we know lol. They've already confirmed the res of the screen, they've already pretty much confirmed the prototype is genuine which has a front facing camera. We all know the announcement date and since there was a leak obviously Apple has more up their sleeve to still wow the crowd at the announcement so no new info there.
