4G question

Just curious if the transition has begun for ATT, will the iPhone 4 be able to take advantage of this or is this in preparation for the iPhone 5?

Nope. "4G" requires a 4G modem witch the iPhone does not have.

AT&T is calling there HSPA+ network "4G". iPhone 4 currently doesnt support this network so it is still on the 3G. The next iPhone probably will support HSPA+ for AT&T. Right now the only phones that AT&T offers that support HSPA+ are the HTC Inspire 4G, and the Motorolla Atrix

I appreciate the clarification. Right now 3G works just fine for me.
