I just did the same thing with my personal 4s. The 5s is an awesome device.

I was hesitant because of iOS 7. 7 on my work 4s was slow and clunky, but 7 on my 5s is actually enjoyable. I am still running 6 on my personal 4s until a new device is announced come September.

And since I upgraded to the 5s running 7, I am selling my 5 running iOS 6.

My HTC one (M7) has a 4.7inch screen, it was good to watch video and play games but to keep in your pocket it was useless lol

When the rumors began about the next iPhone being bigger than 4 inches I bought an iPhone 5C because I didn't want a phone bigger than 4 inches. I had been waiting to see if the 5C would get any other colors like orange but I eventually decided to buy a yellow one just incase the next iPhone didn't have a 4 inch option. To me a smartphone with a 4 inch screen is the perfect size. I had been using a Moto X and I just thought it was too big and went back to my iPhone 5C.

It's doubtful the iPhone 6 will have a 4" screen option. However, they will most likely continue to sell the 5c/5s.

Welcome to iMore

I agree with you a phone should only be so big and the 4 inch is even sometimes to uncomfortable to manage on a daily bases in some situations but is excepable in most

I hope not. 4 inches is just right in my opinion and if there isn't a 4 inch iPhone 6 I'm gonna seriously reconsider upgrading from my iPhone 5.

I will bring this back for considering what was released. I get that Apple brought 2 larger screen phones to the table this year, but does anyone still think they will refresh the 4" for next years release?

I get that people want larger phones, but they released 2 to fill this need. What about the consumer base that does not like larger phones, it Apple just going to drop them?

They won over many consumers with the new devices, but I almost feel like I should be looking elsewhere when my upgrade comes (or device breaks) if no devices smaller than 4.7" are planned to be released for a refresh. Heck, for all we know, no company may continue to release devices for the smaller screen consumer.

That's a good question. I honestly don't think that the 4" screen size will get a refresh. Big screens are where the market is going, but that's just my opinion. :)
