4.2.1 to 4.1 question

Hello, I hope someone can answer a couple of questions. Forgive me as I'm sure this has been discussed before but I am new to jailbreaking and am a little confused. I just downloaded TinyUmbrella and selected to save my SHSH blobs. This is the first time I have ever done this. It shows that I have SHSHs saved for iPhone3GS for 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1, and 4.2.1. Does this mean that I can downgrade to 4.1?

Also, is it worth downgrading to 4.1 to get the untethered jailbreak and compatible tweaks or should I just wait for the next untethered jailbreak, be it 4.2.1 or 4.3?

If I downgrade will I lose any cydia store apps that I already have installed?

Yes you can downgrade since you have shsh files and the you will just have to rejailbreak and download all your cydia apps again.

Also I hope you know that when you downgrade and try to load your back up it will say that your backup is to new that happen to me with my wifes phone she want 4.1 when I had already upgrade her to 4.2.1 so hope that helps

Keep in mind though that you wont be able to restore from a back up from a higher OS after you restore to 4.1.
