3gs wont quit ringing

if someone calls me and i dont answer or ignore the phone call my phone keeps ringing. it rings even after the person has long hung up the call. what do i do? i dont want to have to take it back

Have you tried to reboot? Reset your Network Settings? Restore? If not try those and see what happens.
