3gs local backup incl. whatsapp

On my 3gs (IOS 6.1.6) I can do a whatsapp-chat-backup into icloud.
Also I can do a local backup using itunes (Version 12.5.4.42) but there whatsapp is not included.
How can I get a whatsapp-chat-backup on my PC ?

you can export a chat:
- go to a chat
- press the name of the person (or group)
- go down and press export chat. you can then choose to include media files or not
- choose an option (like email).

it might be a bit cumbersome because you have to do this for all the persons you want to save it.
but if you are interested only in a few, then it could save a lot of space.
