3Gs and Push Notifications

Hey...got a question for you

I have a 3Gs iPhone on 5.1...jailbroken but tethered...

i notice that the push notifications don't seem to work...

it is semi-tethered really by using bigboss' semi-tethered

software

my problem though is this

i get messages on whatsapp or viber and they don't come through

the just sit there until i open the app

is there anything i could do?

Have you actually checked in your notification settings that whatsapp and viber are actually in the part that allows notifications.

You need to reactivate it using SAM. add repo.bingner.com to your Cydia and check google for SAM ios 5 notifications fix.

Does SAM still work after all the unlocking craziness that happened? I know Apple closed the loophole that allowed the unlocks, but what about activations? Does that still work?
